Observation

(2c) Downstairs there were cords that could pose a risk of forming a loop around a child's neck. (3a) There were stacks of branches, and items under the deck in the backyard space, that were unsafe for children to climb on and around. (3b) There was a candle on top of the wood stove accessible to children and used matches on the woodstove (front) accessible to children. (3f) Licnesor observed a plant with a pot on the rail of the deck outside that could fall on children if bumped. In addition there was a plant in the bathroom next to the toilet on the windowsill with the base that was over the edge of the sill that could easily fall on children. The tv did not appear to be secured to the wall in the downstairs space. (4f)The deck stairway; There were wooden slats along one side of the stairway that were loose, worn and more than 3.5 inches gaps. Also the same slats were used under the stairway, worn and had more than 3.5 inch gaps. There was not a gate at the top or bottom of stairs to keep the stairway inaccessible to infants and toddlers.
